Agility Break
If agility training in a wonderfully scenic, dog-friendly environment is something that might interest you, then you would be well advised to investigate what an Agility Break has to offer.
Now in the eleventh year, the Agility Breaks remain consistently popular, as demonstrated by the number of handlers who return every year. So high is the repeat rate that vacancies for the Breaks are sometimes few and far between, although we do manage to accommodate most of those who want to come, on one Break or another.
All four Breaks run midweek, Monday to Thursday, so there's no need to forfeit your weekend shows. For those coming up from the south, the Breaks are typically scheduled between Scottish shows so you can combine your visit with the opportunity to compete against the best that Scotland and the north of England have to offer.
Instruction is provided by a guest Instructor and only those with a proven track-record are invited to instruct. Group training sessions are conducted on a two hour a day basis; maximum number in any group is 8. In addition, there are two separate practice areas available throughout the day, open to all your dogs, and the opportunity to take part in fun competitions, held late afternoon in the main arena. Evenings tend to be sociable, for those who want to join in, with a barbecue and a Chinese evening.
The Breaks are competitively priced and your fee includes 5 nights free pitch. Additional camping is available both before and after the Breaks for those who wish to take advantage of the fantastic walks that surround the farm, set as it is within the vast expanse of Pitmedden forest. For those wishing to explore further, the beautiful city of Perth lies just 20 minutes from the venue, whilst the coastal beauty of St. Andrews is within easy driving distance. So, why not give yourself and your dogs that ideal Break and combine a holiday with first-class agility instruction.
